I have a 1995 Monte Carlo LS with the 3.1L.

Problem:
My Dash Lights, HVAC Lights, Shifter Lights, and Parking Lights will not turn on using the switch or automatically.

Twist:
They will turn on when using the remote starter untill I depress the brake pedal

Is this a problem with the switch or some wort of relay? I changed all the fuses in the car this week as well. Any ideas or sujestions will help

As a side note, my cruise control stopped working 4 months ago

Check the under hood fuse box. Pull the box up and look at the wires on the bottom side. Fixed a customers car that had a broken wire that killed the lights.

the problem was with the underhood fuse box, it looked fine but in reality it must of been internally damaged, What i did is cut the orange wire and put a "female connector" and made a second wire with a "female connector" and a U-shaped connector. The U-shaped end was connected to the positive bolt and the 2 female connectors were joined by a single mini fuse. the pins of the fuse fit into the connectors making a fuse wire. Works fine now :\
