I have a 300ZX sitting in my garage right now. It needs new turbos. I dont have a lot of money and am wondering if I should rebuild. Where would I get this done or does anyone know where I can get good rebuilds and send mine in as cores?

Rebuilt turbos do not have a great reputation. After prolonged operating and thousands of heat cycles you really can't just slot a new bearing cartridge in the center section. So the answer is typically to try and find someone with a clean set of used turbos (check twinturbo.net classifieds) or get new center sections. New center sections are usually around $800 for the pair if you get them from a Garrett distributor. All that is required to install them is unbolt the exhaust and compressor housings (only 8 bolts between them) and the wastegate actuator. Bolt said housings to the new center section and you're done.
