have owned my Acura Vigor for 4 years. The Radio has never been right. I have replaced the Radio x2 I have replaced the antenna and the antenna lead x 2. I have taken it to Best buy x 3 (They did the original install) and gave up:runaround:and took it to a independent shop. I installed a add on Visteon HD radio (http://forums.caraudiomag.com/default.aspx?navsection=community&PageNumber_normalized=index.html&ForumGroupId=162&ForumName=Tech+Exchange&PageIntValue=00&ForumGroupName=General+Discussion&ForumId=1155&SiteSection=70&ForumThreadSubject=Please+help+solve+Poor+Radio+Re ception&PageNumber=1&ContentFilters=ForumThreadSubject%7cForumName%7cFo rumPostId%7c&PageName=Default&ForumPostId=6698956&TemplateUrl=%2f70%2f%5bForumPostId%5d%2f%5b%24Foru mName%5d%2f%5b%24ForumThreadSubject%5d%2findex.htm l#). Still the radio is no good. The signal is variable. Even when the car is not in motion. There are definite dead spots that I always loose the signal. I cannot spend any more $$$ on this. Please Help me. What do I need to tell you ask me anything. :eek7::banghead:

unfortunately, the car/radio/antenna is engineered as a system, changing to an aftermarket radio almost always yields poorer reception.

yeah you'll most likely need an aftermarket antenna to get any great reception
