with a car like that you would not want to scrape the curb.
GTi-VR6_A3

so very true. but you dont have to worry about the doors scraping only the wheels so he could have gotten a bit closer. also if you notice that was a 15min parking area and that ass went in for brunch and was there pretty long.

It is a replica, ugliness is all over it. I'd park it there hoping it would get stolen so I wouldn't have to look at it again.:bloated: But then again I would never buy a fake Lambo, what a waste of money,IMO.

Look at the back end, the fake one is totally molded together, while the real one shoes the lines of the back.

I cant believe you guys are contemplating whether or not that is a kit car. It is total kit, and a horrible one at that. You could see that car a mile down the road and tell it was a horrible kit car.

That is definatly a kitcar, and a horrible representation of the Countach.
I have seen kitcars that can easily be passed of as the real thing and thats not one of them. :)

REPLICA. No question. Not even a good one. One of the worst I have ever seen actually. Take a look at my two Countach wallpapers I created from real Countachs, including a red 5000S, and you will see the huge differences:

Call me Mr Cynical, but no matter how good a replica is, that's all it will ever be - a replica. They may look the part, some may even sound not too bad, but they will never be able to recreate the true feeling of driving an original.
If you are happy to accept second best, then good luck to you, but for me it would have to be all or nothing.
Just my opinion.

Here's the difference between a real and fake red 5000s Countach:
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/820231DSCN0054.jpg
http://matthewdoucette.com/wallpapers/countach1_800x600.jpg
The kitcar looks like a superimposed toy car in comparison to the real thing. Check out the distinct lines. Once you get to know Countachs, you'll realize just how bad this replica is! :)

I agree, there is nothing like the real Lambo. But if the real one is out of your price range then maybe a replica is the thing for you, that may not be a bad thing if it is a good replica as exact to the original as possible.
But yes we should all strive for the real deal.

That must be one of the worst replicas ever, dimensions are tottally wrong, exhaust pipes are in the wrong place, it has no flip up head lights, the wing mirrors are nothing like on an lp5000s, air intakes on the sides are so small they probably make no difference. The interior lay out steering wheel, gear stick and everything are nothing like a countach. I'm sorry but the engine noise you heard was not a lambos and most probably not even a V-12. But still I'll give the owner 1 out of 50 for trying.

where's the cut outs for the pop up headlights? saw it for a fake before the fist pic downloaded. The rear shot shows, not only the molded look, but the engine cover doesnt fit properly, if you lighten the photo the (black) back end is all wrong, the front indicator looks like it was glued on and the windows are crap...in general the car looks like it was made by gibbons with access to welding equipment...probably spent more on the aftermarket badges and wheel centres than they did making the plastic volkswagen!
