Got The A/c Converted To R134a4x4 blazerguy 04-30-2008, 05:53 PM Finally got the A/C on my wife's 1993 Lumina fixed. I took it to a shgop that does all the work I don't want to fool with on my trucks & cars. They converted it to R134A that was all it needed. It blows COLD COLD air now. It only cost $132. So now everything works again on her Lumina. :smokin::smokin: DnaProRacing 05-01-2008, 12:50 AM good to hear. glad you're happy. It makes life at home easier that is for sure. She works on the Colorado River & temps have already been 103 degrees. So we know hot. Last summer the 4th of July was 132 degrees. From June through Oct 120+ Nights cool off to 100 degrees. Sometimes I wonder how we lived in the old days without A/C. I grew up in a town in the Nevada desert. The summers use to get to 100 degrees nobody had A/C. heck few had swamp coolers. Craig vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
