Howdy all. I've taken a little break from my new broach in to automotive modelling, but now I'm ready to re-imurge myself in a car, this time hopefully to completion! The kit is an old Monogram '32 Deuce Roadster. The kit, along with a pile of about 10 others is one that belonged to my late father. I would like to build them all as a sort of tribute for him, and have my mother display them proudly in her house. Most I will do out of the box, but I'm sure my AMS won't allow me to leave this one alone. I know for sure I will use the block and the shell of the car. Beyond that I will have to figure it out.

I am by no means an expert modeler, but I do feel adequete enough to scratch build a lot of these parts. I am VERY welcome to criticism, and I would love for you guys to help me with some ideas. I've never built a "hot-rod" type car like this where I can explore (and for that matter I've never finished a car!). My experience lies with WW2 aircraft.

I'm considering building a Z frame for the body, I'll have to see where things go from there. Here's a picture of what I've got to deal with

enjoy, and feel free to leave me feedback! I'm a preacher of constructive criticism!
