i think it has the 1.5liter and a 5 speed manaul, it has 267000 mi on it and i know nothing about its past, what should i check first, the steering components creak when you turn, im guessing it the ball joints, im new to the honda world. so all help will be appreciated. i will have pics of it tomorrow and most importantly the starter is not working every time , i tapped it with a hammer and it would spin slowly but not kick into the flywheel. thanx

first run a compression check and that will tell you what kind of condition the motor is in before dumping money into it

ok do what the gut said to do with the compression test. but use the local auto store to test your condition of the battery and starter the starter, its not to hard to remove 12mm socket and a 6" ext.
