I have a 2002 ext cab with the 4.3L V6. I have 23" rims with some 285/35/r23 tires on it. When I put mine on I lost 2 mpg. If you have a V8 it might be a little bit different.

i dont seem to notice much difference if any. but you do need to factor in that your mileage is off unless you get your computer reprogrammed. if you just go by the odometer and you just put the rims on, it looks like you are getting terrible mileage, but your probably not getting any different.
