Wet Floor

So its been raining here for a few days and i just happen to look in the rear passenger side and the carpet was all wet and looks sick. pic:http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk64/97EclipseRS/Wetfloor002.jpg
like its so wet that if u press your fingers on it they will be wet.
Just woundering what a cause of this could be and if anyone els has/had this problum and what they did.

either you got a rusted out floor pan (unlikely) or a leaky sun roof... more likely the roof...

Yeah i excpted the sun roof thing but their arnt any other drops of water anywhere in my car. and i close the little pannel thing and that never gets wet so.

Pull the rear passenger plastic off and see if the window itself is leaking. Otherwise I bet your hatch drains are plugged and it's draining forward into the car for some reason, or something like that. Maybe pull up the rear seats and see if its wet under there too.

Already ahead of you. pulled out the back seats, no wetness. pulled off the pastic piece where the speaker is and nothing their ether. the only place thats wet is the floor. thats y this confused me so.:banghead:

I would pretty much strip the car down on the inside and sit in there and have someone spray the car down and look for leaks.

Was the window not all the way up or something like that? That's very odd that it does that.

That blows man. Is your sunroof seal good? I would say maybe you dropped something in there and forgot about, but you said it was after raining? Are your drains good?

Was the window not all the way up or something like that? That's very odd that it does that. My windows were up. yeah its very odd b/c its only in that little section. but yeah i might try stripping down the car and use a hose and look but i dont think its comming from the top i think its comming from somewhere els.:screwy:

MAybe one of your plugs is open, you know the grommits that are on the floor under the carpet? The plugs that you can take out to drain your floor, do you know what I'm talking about? They're under the carpet.

I thought there was only one of these and it was under the drivers seat where the rear O2 sensor comes out.

No, there's several of those opening throughout the car.
