Just took my 2008 Forester to the dealer this morning because it just seems like there is more road noise than when I first got it (Nov 2007).

They tell me it needs rear wheel bearing(s).

How can this be on a car with 8,485 miles?

At first I thought it was the tires (Yokohama). I rotated them at 6,000 miles.

It was the wheel bearings.

They were replaced on 4/15/08 and the noise has been reduced.

Other than that, no problems on vacation. Got almost 31 MPG.
