Manowarr 04-12-2008, 08:53 PM Have you replaced your dogbone struts lately? DnaProRacing 04-13-2008, 09:17 AM yeah the one you see in the pic is about 6 months old. had to have the old lady hold the car in reverse while I ran the bolt thru the holes. scary moment. got the strut from partstrain for 16 bucks... 4x4 blazerguy 04-17-2008, 10:50 PM Looks good. You could build a sheet metal box to direct in only cold air would help a bunch. You have room to build a box bringing in air from the headlite area. Blue Bowtie 04-20-2008, 09:57 AM Looks like a nice hot air intake. Should be great in winter for faster fuel evap. DnaProRacing 04-28-2008, 09:56 PM hot air intake. lol. basically true since this engine runs so hot. atleast till i put a lower temp thermostat in. heres a pic of what i did to "help" a little in that situation. the bottom of the old box filter is under the filter and i ran a hose thru the hole to the opening above the headlight. I also have hood vents, one is directly above the filter. i have to put the flaps back in when it rains tho... http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll11/DnaProRacing/car004.jpg Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
