Anyone know how many foot lb's to torque this too? Its got a "I'm real easy to strip" feel to it. It didnt have a gasket so I want to make sure that I dont allow it to become a source of a oil leak. I mean, the oil filter is only hand tightened, but it has a rubber gasket, any suggestions would be appreciated. The haynes manual has a lot of the ft-lb bolt settings, but I couldn't locate any of the sensor's settings. I guess I could reverse engineer a temp sensor and see what it takes to bust it loose, but that again implies that it was installed correctly and I'm not the original owner so...... :) that was supposed to be funny BTW?

Thanks Guys.

11 ft-lbs (131 in-lbs)

It would probably benefit you to download the '93 Lexus ES manual from the sticky thread at the top of this page.
