What do u guys think about the exterior color of my car?
I bought it and the drivers side fender and frount bumper was JACKED up so i replaced them with new parts. they are black so i am getting it painted do u think i should keep this red organge it has or go with strait red? just looking for other thoughts Thanks =P

I like that color. It wont cost much to have the fender and bumper painted. A whole car would cost a whole lot more.

I gotta get the whole thing painted anyways b/c 1. in the 2nd pic u can probly see the damage on the passenger door towords the back 2. thier are alota little things that would just looks tons better with a new coat of paint and it woudntl cost me that much more to get it painted red.

I say keep that colour very nice. will look a lot better with the handles painted.

Keep it the same color, otherwise you'll have loads of work/money into it painting the door/hatch jams, engine bay, etc, or it will look like shit if you have 2 different colors. Is that a maroonish color, or like a burnt orange?

Looks like your 1/4 panel was fucked up too. Might as well have that done while you're at it.

I really like the door handels but i dunno about the mirrors.

You'll want the mirrors done, trust me. The only way the black mirrors look good is on a Talon because of the black top. :2cents: I have the mirrors painted on my RS (burnt orange as well), but I've also got a custom paintjob so they may look differently than yours, I'll try get some pics though.

I cant deside if i like it all one color or not i was think what my options would b and this is what i could come up with.

1) buy new fog light covers and the things next to them.
2)leave it like it is

Well the car looks good as far as I can tell, but I cant beleive that they painted all the plastic trim pieces and radiator ducting in the front bumper, that looks straight shitty. I can tolerate the fog light surrounds being red and also the black bar thingy in the middle of the bumper being red. But I'd have to paint the radiator ducting back black. And the vent block offs beside the foglights....I'd just take those out and throw them away, I just hope it doesn't mess up the paint.

What would b the most effective way to paint the air duct and raidiator back to black? or remove the red?

The best thing to do would be to take the bumper off and do it. But if not, you could just mask off the parts you want to stay red, then spray the inside black.

God that bumber was hell taking it off and putting it on and we didnt have to worrie about the paint or anything cant imagine taking it off with trying not to scratch it and sutch. i dunno still kinda torn between if i should do anything or not.

I would paint it back black. There is just to much red on the front end. Car looks sick though.:thumbsup:

Yeah i wunna take off the frount bumber and repaint it black but that require me using the garage for a few days and i dunno how that would go over with the parents. and i replaced the stock bumper b/c it was in bad condish with that after market one and all the other pieces on the frount and the only way i got it off the first time was like ripping it and i couldnt do that this time. anyone got any segestions on what paint to use? and the reson i didnt do the miors was b/c i didnt do the handels so it was ither both or nothing.

And i am not going to loose sleep over the unpainted mirors and handels b/c i am saving my money right now and i am going to sell this in less than a year and use my saved money and the money i get for selling this and buy a 99 GSX:grinyes: (if i can find one:banghead: )
