Just looking for general opinion. A neighbor of mine is selling a 1988 Mercedes Benz 560 SEL.

It has 170,000 miles, just passeed emissions and inspection and has no rust. The interior is in decent shape and the paint is in great shape. They are asking $1,500.

Just trying to decide if I really should go for it or let someone else have it. I don't need a DD because I have one. It has the V8 so it would suck on gas mileage - but the car is a beauty and I was thinking it would be nice to own for a year or so, fix it up real nice and sell it.

What do you think?
