Does anyone know of work that could be done on a Mustang to convert the antennae from outside to an inside car antennae?

I've heard of people moving them inside. One guy I talked to mounted his on the dash side of the firewall and drilled a small hole in the dash pad for the antenna to go threw. You really couldn't even tell it was there, especially since it was in the corner. I Considered doing this to my old mustang. I was going to bring the top of the antenna up threw the defrost vent, but I didn't have a heater or anything in the car.

That was with my 1987 mustang coupe. It was an ex 4cyl car, but I swapped a 351w in it. When all was said and done I had a 700hp mustang. It got to where it was just no fun to drive. So I sold it and put together my current hotrod. The 1969 Cougar with 475hp & a 5spd.
