Leakage would not stop you from passing inspection, unless it was brake or power steering fluid... wingcmdr 03-27-2008, 11:09 AM Thanks for the tips, I won't, have time to mess with it till the weekend, But by then Iam sure I'll be back with more Questions. wingcmdr 03-30-2008, 04:14 PM Well Iam back And finaly had time to get to the car. I bit the bullet and bought some ramps, jack stands and rags and got under the car to inspect. I wiped off most of the grease/oil/ fluids, and sure enough Jeffcoslacker was right After running the car for a short time it was obvious the trans cooler line fittings are my issue. Both fittings are dripping. Is This something I might be able to remidy myself (maybe hoseclamps?) or should I just take it to a shop? And now For some new questions: I have a airbag light. And a antilock light on my dash. The rear drum brakes lock up instantly when applying brakes is there a common cause of this? I also seem to have the common problem of sticky blinkers and malfunctoining brake lights when blinkers are applyed. I have read this is a issue in the steering columm switch , Could it just be greased? This car was cheap but obviously needs some work. And ruff ideas off how much cash I am looking at?Saying i do what i can myself Thanks again in advance ..This Forum is awesome Bearwulf 04-01-2008, 02:43 AM Air bag actuator might be unplugged. Definite bad prob with brakes. Should get brake system scanned REPUTABLE shop or dealer, the anti-lock brakes have been disabled by the system itself so it will have codes stored within. This should be done immediatley as it could cause failure. Please describe blinker & brake light problem more completely.
