2002 LeSabre + GIANT Pothole = Airbag LightMarquisGT 03-23-2008, 06:20 PM Title pretty much says it all... I hit a giant pothole on the driver's side going about 35mph straight-on. The console beeped about 5 times and the airbag light came on (constant, red). When I stopped to check it out, I shut the car off and restarted it.. the light did not come back on. Does this mean everything is back to normal? Should I take it to get it diagnosed just in case? I'd rather spend a little money and know the airbag system is working 100% if there is any question. There was no visible damage to the tires/rims, and the alignment still seems good. Should I have the front end checked out to be safe? Thanks maxwedge 03-23-2008, 07:46 PM I'd get it on a lift and take a close l look at the suspension, underchassis and steering, look for the inside of the rim being bent, usually no lite no issue with the SIRS, but a scan with the proper scanner would tell the story. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
