I am having trouble with my blower motor making a whining noisewhen the switch is in the 3-4 position. In any other position it works just fine and is quiet. Is this an indication that the motor is going out? I had a friend who had the same symptoms in his grand prix and his motor died a little while later. Thanks!

It is located under the passenger side dash right? I have never removed it, only changed the cabin air filters... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

mine had a balancer come off one of the blades. taking it out solved it, though I found out the specific blade it had come off, the dirt level was different from the rest of the blade...
