Grandad purchased a new 1989 Full Size Blazer off the show room floor and kept it in the garage and carport. He put less than 650 miles per year! It has 12,242 original miles!!! It is MINT!!!! Beautiful paint and interior. 4x4, power windows, locks, steering, etc, power rear window. I drove it for grandma the other day and got 4 new tires, new battery, and belts and hoses. He passed away and the other family members don't have room for it. It is sad because it is just like new. He passed away and had a 1968 Eldorado with 14,000 miles, another 72 Cadiallac with 11,000 miles, and this Jimmy with 12,000 miles. I don't know what the Jimmy is worth and what to ask for it! The motor, transmission and everything is great! I don't want grandma to get ripped off. Anyone looking for a NEW Jimmy needs to call or email me. Any help with the value would be great.

Hello,

maybe I can help with the value. Unfortunately Im not sure how much these trucks retain their value, but heres what I could find.

Kelly Blue Book says:
Excellent $2490
Good $2215
Fair $1865

Edmund's true market value:
Private party: $882
Dealer Retail: $1745

I know these seem pretty low for your truck since it is in such good condition. I know I bought my 79 GMC JImmy back in 2000 for $4000 and it had 80,000 miles and was in good condition. So I would get a local paper, and search the internet to see what similar trucks in your area are going for. Where you live could make a big difference in what you can sell the truck for. Hope this helps!!

Im in WA state and I know the blue book says high 2000 range but around here an 89-91 in good shape like yours would be atleast 5000 or more. Not sure what area your in but they are usually sought after by the diehards and are hard to find with that low of miles and in that good of shape. Hope this helps you a little.
