i know this post was started ages ago but here goes. take out all the speakers and the speaker wire in the car. you need to remove your cd player from the dash, (might have to remove some of the dash to take it out). now you need to decide what you want, wether it be a standard cd player or a really expencive one with amps and subwoofers. "Putting one in" for a standard installation you need, speakers, speaker wire, Stereo Head deck. first you need to find your wires behind the dash. there should be three power wires. Wires. 1 +12v connected to the positive of the battery. 2 +12v connected to ignition, this one is the remote so when you start your car it will turn on. 3 -12v connected to the CHASSIS of the car. you will get a diagram with your stereo saying whyat wires to wire them into. connect them to the corrosponding wires from the stereo. now you need to plug in the antenna. the black cable. all of them are the same you shouldent miss it just stick it were it fits. now mount your speakers in there mounting positions. than you need to unscrew the side squrts of the carpet holders. lift up the carpet on the drivers and the passengers side of the car. you need to cut 2 wires of equal length to be able to reach the stereo to the rear speakers. connect the cable to the speakers and the stereo using the diagram to match the corrosponding wires. than you need to do the same for the front 2 speakers. once all done screw everything in and fix the carpet. the stereo will now work. if you want to put in some subwoofers and amps you wire them up to the 2 RCA plugs at the back and probly buy an amp wireing kit wich contains 3 wires and a fuse. you need to wire it to the battery, the ignition and mount the negitive to the chassis. than wire it throgh the carpet and into the boot where you will mount the amp. dont worry all the wireing will come with the amps instructions. hope this helps anyone with the same problem. thanks.
