I want to buy a '95 taurus. auto trans. the guy says everything is great but won't or has trouble shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear. Says it is the shifing module and is a quick and easy fix. Does this sound right?

I'm not going to be able to tell you if it's a quick and easy fix. However, I would have to ask, "If it's a quick and easy fix, why haven't you fixed it so you can get more for the car?"
