Batteries

Has anyone had to replace the batteries, if so at what milage and how much?
I'm thinking of getting one but worry that the battery replacement will be very high.

I'm reading online that those things should last up to 250,000 miles based on actual experiences. I'm betting by then I'll be trading in.
