What Is Next Step So I Can Get My Car Running Again. Please Get Me Out Of This Mess... Help Please ...h Elp... Thanks dbeta75 03-07-2008, 02:00 PM My 97 Altima just started the same issue last night on the way home...The Knock Sensor is supposed to be just above the oil filter on the back side of the engine. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can tell us if the problem is with the sensor, or may be another issue causing this. FixUrNissan 03-07-2008, 09:45 PM CODES P0325 KNOCK SENSOR & P0303 CYLINDER 3 MISFIRE The knock sensor code was probably generated due to the cyl misfire. Check spark plug galley for any oil leaking from valve cover, saturating plug wire. If dry check plugs, replace as needed with wires. If misfire is still present injector pulse and compression check would be the next step. The Knock sensor is above the oil filter under the intake, right under the coolant pipe.
