coil over questionMetal Siren 02-25-2003, 07:59 PM you know you regular coil overs right??? the sleeves...well, Im wondering...if I was to take out the adjustable part of it and just leave the spring how low would the height be? would it be the max of 4" or min of 1"? And would this effect the spring rate of the coils? would it increase my spring rate of 350lbs or lower it? or would it just mess up the balance all together? You wouldn't be sitting on the spring at all you'd prolly be riding on the bumpstops or worse the shock itself. You should never really slam your car anyway cause it's not good for the longevity of the shocks, OR you would need shorten shocks, but being that low is just plain crazy and dumb. Metal Siren 02-26-2003, 02:23 AM good to know:) hondaman-iac 03-03-2003, 01:10 PM i haven't paid any attention to what you drive but if u take the adjustable part it won't stay in the lower spring seat at all. and konis can drop the car to about 15cm (that would be 6-7cm) vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
