92 s-10 blazer 4.3....chonesy 02-27-2008, 04:57 PM my 92 s-10 blazer is not getting any fuel to the throttle body, the fuel pump, fuel filter, and relay have all been changed. After all were changed truck started and drove for about 5 mins then died. tried starting again and no gas is getting to the trottle body. Any comments will help. Chris Stewart 02-27-2008, 07:15 PM It's been pretty cold here lately, do you think it's been cold enough to freeze any water in your fuel lines? chonesy 02-28-2008, 04:40 PM no, I'm in San Diego and it hasn't been all that cold. MT-2500 02-28-2008, 05:15 PM You need to get a fuel pressure gauge and t into the line at fuel filter. You should have 9-13 lbs running pressure. If not check for 12 volts getting the fuel pump and good ground. If good voltage and ground you fuel pump is bad. But make sure you have plenty of gas in it or add 5 gallon and retry it. Also make sure you have good hot blue spark to the spark plugs. No spark will cause the fuel pump will not run also. Can you hear the fuel pump run prime up for 2-3 seconds when the key is first turned on? MT chonesy 02-28-2008, 08:56 PM Fuel pump is working fule injectors work when cold it seems once the engine heats up it dies and then will not start. Just replaced the fuel pressure regulator in the throttle body and it started up fine but after ten minutes or so of idling it died and once again there is no fuel coming out of the injectors. Could this have something to do with my ignition coil? Chris Stewart 02-29-2008, 08:55 AM Does the Check Engine light come on? MT-2500 02-29-2008, 09:45 AM You need to check fuel pump and for lose of spark when it does it. If it has good spark check fuel pressure. And post back pressure readings. chonesy 03-01-2008, 12:44 AM It has a bad sprk i'm replacing the ignition pick up coil and distributr tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
