Remember the max pressure is for a max load.
I would contact Goodrich or the tire place.
Read the fine print on the tire. There should be a minimum load/pressure to.
Make sure tour rims are correct for the tire size and width.
Unless you are hauling a max load I would stay about half way between min and max pressure.

I have those tires and I set mine to around 40-45 psi. They felt too squishy at 32 psi.

I also have the same kind of tires and I always kept mine at 45 lbs. I wouldn't max it out to 50 lbs because as your tires get hotter when you drive, the pressure may go up.

MT-2500 is right, the 50 lbs is max. Look for your door label that should show the appropiate pressure for your vehicle in normal use. I run mine as low as 18 lbs when driving on dirt roads to get rid of the washboard effect and put the rears up to 45 lbs when towing on the highway with my mother in law in the back seat.

If the tires are too low, don't they wear unevenly? Plus, the tires sound like they're flat too.

The pressure listed on the tire sidewall is the maximum tire pressure - or the tire pressure that is required to carry the maximum load of the tire. It is not the manufacturer's recommended tire pressure, which is a common misperception. from: http://www.betiresmart.ca/inflation/proper.asp?loc1=inflation&loc2=proper

In the case of this particular tire, it says on the sidewall, 50 psi is the max cold tire pressure. So 50 psi is technically ok if you want to try it out.

i personaly always run all of my tires half way between the max and what it says on the inside of your door. u can run them at the max ok, but u will notice a very high rate of wear in the center of the tire.
