I have a 1994 Buick Regal Custom and my battery went dead.:banghead: I popped the hood to find that the windshield wiper fluid tank sits on top of the battery.:runaround: Thanks to the guys at Buick, now I have a big problem. If I can't do it myself, I will have to get it towed. Can somone help me with this problem giving me some instuctions on how to correct this problem on my own to save this mother of 3 some bucks.:2cents: Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Why don't you take your car (if you can jump it) to Autozone, Advanced Auto Parts or evn Pep Boys and just have them do it for you for free because when you buy a new battery they generally swap it out for you. Oh, I was just told Sears Automotive will swap it for free, too.

Hi Stephen,

Thank you for your response. The problem has been solved. My husband took out the windshield washer fluid tank anf changed the battery. And Advance Auto Parts would not change my battery because it was considered labor intensive. So my hubby bought the battery and it took about an hour, but now we know how to do this and won't need a mechanic after all.

Thanks again,
