Fuel pump overhaulmudder1_2000 02-24-2008, 01:46 AM Hi does anyone know if it is possible to rebuild the fuel pump in an 01' Venture? I have seen rebuild kits on Ebay. And I was hoping to avoid the 350.00 price for a new one. I was told by someone that the glue the pump into the assembly. Anyone know if this is true? ("Brand New" Fuel Pump Complete Repair Kit MU172(Fuel Level Sending Unit/Sensor,Fuel Strainer/Filter) Now all you need is the pump wafrederick 02-24-2008, 09:56 PM You are better off replacing the whole pump.Stay away from Airtex,Carter,AutoZone,Bosch and Advanced for fuel pumps.Get one from the dealer or your nearest Carquest parts store, both made by Delphi whom makes them for GM.Some of Carquest's pumps are made by Bosch, the Delphi one is the better fuel pump over the Bosch fuel pump. I'm now on my third one, and yes again this morning, that one went out. I'm getting my money's worth, and a lot of experience dropping the fuel tank. heimdawg 03-12-2009, 07:54 PM OEM is $235.79 at rockauto.
