Sometimes when turning I hear a light popping sound from the steering wheel. I hope this won't cause a bigger problem in the future :uhoh:

It could be from where the steering shaft is held onto the dash; there are some bolts and a clamp on most vehicles. Mine does the same and I haven't had the time to look at it just yet.

Check things that are lose. I noticed a slight poping sound in my jeep and it turned out to be the tie rod. Im not saying its exactly that but make sure to check for lose stuff.
