I have a 1997 Chevy s-10 blazer. I had my four wheel drive on since winter started. Last week I hit the 2 wheel button and nothing happened. It didn't make a clicking sound or anything. So i tried looking on the internet to see what it might be but I could not find anything. Then 2 days ago I started my car and the lights were off on the switch where you can choose four wheel and two wheel (I don't know what it is called, if it has a name I'd like to know that too). So I don't know what happened. I'm kind of wondering if it's the switch thingy or if it something else. thank you

First pull the switch and make sure its connected.
Also check your fuses. I think there are a couple for the drive train.

If those things check out then make sure your Transfercase control module is plugged in.
