I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I noticed an antifreeze leak the other day in the vicinity of the water pump. I changed the water pump and still noticed a leak toward the top of the engine. I then changed all upper radiator hoses. I still have a leak and have no idea where it is coming from. Can anyone offer any suggestions or help?

Check the radiator side tank seams.

I will check this. It seems that it is leaking from somewhere on the engine though.

It was leaking on the upper passenger side. I found that it was leaking between where the engine block and timing belt housing meet. Not sure why antifreeze was pushing through there but I decided after tearing everything apart that it was too big of a job. It is now towed to the shop to be fixed. Very frustrating. I will keep everyone posted of the exact problem in case it happens to you.:banghead:

It appeared that mine was leaking from the hoses hanging under the Jeep but it was actually coming from the top corner of where my timing belt housing met the engine block. I ended up having to take it to a mechanic because I didn't have the tools to take off the harmonic balancer. He basically had to replace the gasket between the timing belt housing and engine block. Also look at your water pump and make sure it isn't leaking from there and running down. FYI, it cost me $500+ to get that gasket replaced.:2cents:
