need helpbigboi_408 02-19-2008, 01:15 AM i have an 89 civic dx. the lights in the dash went out and have no idea how to fix it. also the meter for the gas stoped working. there is also a noise everytime i turn the steering wheel. G.A.S. 02-19-2008, 01:41 AM see if you blew a fuse. The sound in the stearing may be an issue. If the sound is inside , there very well may be wires being rubed or pinched. Has the colum been apart before? bigboi_408 02-19-2008, 02:01 PM the noise comes from inside the steering wheel and it has never been taken apart. they told me it was the c/v but i dont think so Greenblurr93 02-21-2008, 11:09 AM You need to be more descriptive about the "noise"... is it a squeek? Creek? pop? And you prolly blew a fuse, check the panel under the dash on the drivers side for a blown fuse bigboi_408 02-22-2008, 07:41 PM its like a pop Greenblurr93 02-23-2008, 12:22 AM does the horn still work? the pop could be the clock spring came loose bigboi_408 02-23-2008, 12:27 PM the horn has been desconected for about a year now Greenblurr93 02-23-2008, 10:23 PM disconnected or broken?? i dont know why someone would knowingly disconnect a saftey device... anyways... take the cover off the wheel and look around, maybe something got loose or broke bigboi_408 02-24-2008, 12:21 AM okay, i'll do that. but is there anyway i can connect the horn back?
