My 2005 Malibu has 40K miles and has developed a weird creeking noise. aYou can hear it pretty much whenever you turn left or right. Not sure if it's a stearing issue or suspension, it's hard to pinpoint. Just sound slike the car is going to falling apart..lol Any suggestions?

Front sway bar bushings, mine on my 04 were replaced under warranty and lubed. If no warranty just spray them with silicone.

Could also be a strut tower bushing. One of these were replaced on my '00 under warranty. Another problem can be the strut bearing which can make some weird noises.

Try the easy stuff first like lubing the sway bar bushings to see if it lessens. If not you may have to dig deeper or live with it by turning the radio louder so you don't hear it.:smile:
