Short answer, you have to swap everything. Motor, bellhousing, axles, motor mounts and roll resistors, wiring harnesses, pcm, radiator, etc, etc. I say find yourself a V6 5 speed. Lots more reliable than I4 and ESPECIALLY more reliable than the slushbox automatic. pre98zetec 02-14-2008, 12:26 AM Lots more reliable than I4 and ESPECIALLY more reliable than the slushbox automatic.Seems rather ignorant.. Both my 96's, zetec atx have well over 200k and there both stock, they are reliable, alot more reliable then the duratec. Not saying the duratec is a bad motor, but when comparing them with the zetec in terms of reliability, the zetec usually wins.
