S/C cuttin in and out

anyone else had this problem, my SRT 6 sometimes wont get the S/C kick in until a few miles down the road. and it'll kick on randomly while maintaining speed at about 40 and it will kick the shit out of me too lol. which it chould but not when im keeping a steady speed. just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, i think it has something to do with the intercooler temp sensor. thanks everyone
