Instructions for those, who need them :)

When I saw that stupid FaF3 movie, I saw an S15 engine swaped into Mustang car. I thought they swaped Ford engine for SR20DET. I thought the FaF3 kit come with Frod and SR20DET engine but surprise. There is Ford and something they call RB26DET, so the RB26DET goes to my another project and this kit will be 1967 Mustang Fastback, not any "Whoa tuning muscle car looks so cool".
What is nice is that AMT-ERTL kit comes with many optional parts, Ford and Shelby. So I'll use for example modified hood (dunno if you call it Shleby hood, becouse I'm japanese car enthusiast) and Shelby head cylinders cover.

The build'll follow my sketch, click on da pic if you wanna see progress.

Cutted away the styrene from the rear of the car, the pic is old, you can see my GTO in early stages :D

The parts don't fit properly, so I need to putty them, sand and making new panel lines/seams.Some parts fits OK on one side, but on the another side they are bad, and on the right light from top view there is a hole! :D

Cut out the "mesh" I'll replace it with Tamiya mesh from rally cars.

Small update:

The exhaust pipes are paintbrushed with XF-55 Deck Tan from Tamiya, need to brush aluminium parts again and add bare metal foil stripes to add realism.
Then the weathering :)

wow, look like it's gonna be a nice build!

by the way, it's not an s15 engine but a skyline gtr one, the rb26dett.

it was swapped in the s15 for the movie since it's a very popular swap in those cars.

have fun with the sr20!

Nice work so far. I built this kit a while back just as a stock Mustang GT, it's a good kit with the exception of the front and rear fascias, as you've discovered.
