To change water pump the timing belt cover needs to come off. When you change water pump you may as well change timing belt at same time. Any tips you can provide would be appreciated. tempfixit 02-22-2008, 07:57 PM If you do not have a air wrench to remove crankshaft pulley use a breaker bar with I think a 22mm socket for the crankshaft bolt, tie it so it cannot move and tap the starter to loosen bolt. Also before taking timing belt off put number 1 cylinder to TOP DEAD CENTER so everything is in time when you put new belt on. PM sent.
