"ABS" LightSteveCooke101 02-06-2008, 10:32 PM I recently was issued a Motor Vehicle Inspection on My 1996 Dodge Ram. i replaced the ball joints, front axle shaft "U joints, and the rear pinion bearings. Now that everything is done i noticed when i release the Emergency Brake the indicator lights for the "ABS" and the Parking Brake light remain on. :banghead: When i first release the E-brake these lights go out but then after driving a few min they come back on. Any Ideas where to start? Thanks!! crazys182003 02-07-2008, 03:37 AM first thing to check is the rear sensor on top of your diff. maybe during the inspection the connection came loose. If its all connected good then I would prob replace the sensor all together (Mine went bad at about 60,000 Miles). It only costs $40-50 at a local dealer or local auto parts store. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
