Doug Tatham 02-25-2008, 01:08 PM Rotate the engine so that it is top dead center (The wedge on the flywheel should line up with the wedge on the bell housing). Make sure the mark (line or dot, I don't remember) on the cam shaft are even with the edge of cylinder head. Make sure the rotor is pointing to the number one spark plug. The crank turns 2 times for each one turn on the distributer. It's easy to have the distributer off 180 degrees. Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
