WHen was last tune-up?? Like you stated the knock sensor rarely fails, usually another code is set with it. There was another code, but it was for a sensor that this particular auto parts store did not carry. I will have the codes reread and see if anything else is thrown. This van has 108,000 miles, and I replaced timing belt, plugs, cap and rotor at 103,000. I didn't replace wires. The link you posted doesn't work, I even tried cutting and pasting.
