Ok, the first thing i did after i bought this car dec 24th was replace the spark plugs, thought they might be fouled..didnt help.so then i replaced the coil.....still nothing. the car has new plug wires,cap,rotor,coil,and alternator voltage regulator. could it be the points? this is my first vehicle with points. i am restoring this car and need this info soon please any suggestions will help.

Points and condencer is what you need. That is the first thing to check on that ignition style system if you have no spark.
On the older style cars like that when your going through things, clean all the grounds good. One bad ground can spoil a good day real quick.

Very simple points ign system as mentioned, make sure you have voltage to the plus side of the coil when cranking, also.
