Scientists can erase a specific memory in rats now-Davo 02-04-2008, 03:19 AM http://discovermagazine.com/2008/jan/how-to-erase-a-single-memory That is pretty awesome, I know people who say "bah! Animal testing is wrong!" and "rats don't prove shit!" I say: "I like pie!" then realise that Animal testing is what gave us countless protection from death including insulan dependant diabetics and the typical cold virus and say this is pretty awesome! Then again, a heavy night on the piss can do it too. Toksin 02-04-2008, 03:53 AM I can erase specific memories any Thursday or Saturday night of the week. Damien 02-04-2008, 08:41 AM I'm pretty sure you just prevent yourelf from having memories any Thursday or Saturday night. :p J_Swigz 02-04-2008, 10:38 AM I'm pretty sure you just prevent yourelf from having memories any Thursday or Saturday night. :p Eh, same difference . BeZerK2112 02-04-2008, 10:54 AM But did they really prove anything. All we know is that the rats didn't respond, maby they fried their brains and when they hear a beep they go numb and cant do anything for 5 minutes. I sometimes wonder if animals would use us for testing if they could...honestly, I think they would. antiguru 02-05-2008, 04:29 PM can scientists erase scientologists yet? -Davo 02-06-2008, 02:37 AM can scientists erase scientologists yet? hahahaha I wish. AtomicAutoSports 02-06-2008, 11:45 AM Really if they just erased Tom Cruise it would probably help erase scientology all together.. Where do you think they are taking it to far in animal testing? I mean do you think they can? As in, it's okay for rats to be tested..but what about chimps or pigs and such? It's kinda weird to think about it that way..but I would have a harder time testing a chimp than I would testing a rat. I'd even have a harder time testing a bunny rabbit than I would a rat haha. Maybe that just says something about rats.... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
