info needed pleasecrewchief58d 02-02-2008, 05:27 PM I have a 2000 Rodeo, 4wd, 3.2 liter, with an engine family of YSZXTO3.52JK. I bought the Haynes manual for my truck, and all the engine diagrams are for other models. My truck keeps idling irregularly and cuts off if I stop too long. It will usually stay on if I turn on the A/C. I don't know why. I am trying to avoid buying parts I don't need. I love my truck, but it needs a doctor bad. amigo-2k 02-02-2008, 05:29 PM Sounds like a leaky intake manifold gasket. Check out the FAQ link below for more details. Gizmo42 02-02-2008, 08:20 PM Haynes covers 1st gen rodeos better then 2nd gen. You can d/l a factory manual from http://rapidshare.com/files/12505772/Rodeo00.pdf thanks to kirill. mfh_anderson 02-03-2008, 09:46 AM i had the same problem. mine was blown intake manifold gasket. i was sure after spraying some carb cleaner (must be extremely flammible) around and when it gets sucked in, the idle will increase. not a hard change. alot of sneaky bolts so its not super easy either. FL 3.2L 02-03-2008, 09:48 AM Admit it mfh, you miss your Isuzu! Or do you have another in the driveway? Cool of you to stick around and help out! mfh_anderson 02-03-2008, 10:03 AM nah, i dont miss it. miss having some to work on from time to time. not every weekend like the past month. but wife loves her new magnum. and no i dont have another, i had a 4runner. FL 3.2L 02-03-2008, 10:45 AM :) I saw 2 on the road the other day. One was cream colored with dark tinted glass. Super clean looking. The guy was just itching to get on it, but he was stuck in snowbird traffic. He'd get some space between himself and the car in front of him and get on it. Loads of power. Good luck with it! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
