Car rides lower on passenger sidePilotMojo 02-22-2003, 11:27 PM So my car is lower on the passenger side, by maybe an inch, but its visible... Any possibilities... im not to big with cars. But I know enough... Thanks Duatone 02-22-2003, 11:56 PM what do you have for a suspension setup? PilotMojo 02-22-2003, 11:57 PM Its completely stock... Anything else that needs to be known? rims stock... hondacivic4drlx 02-23-2003, 06:35 PM it might be that your girl needs to loose wieght. j/k :D PilotMojo 02-23-2003, 07:23 PM LMAO Yah i told her that its time to drop a few pounds... i mean, when id spin'm id go in circles... its like the brakes were working on the right side. kinda like canoeing, when you paddle on one side... lol emerge 02-27-2003, 09:31 PM as first i thought it would be your schocks, but that's really weird considering you haven't modified your suspension. all i can say is take it to the shop and get them to fix it? hondaman-iac 03-03-2003, 01:07 PM i have the same problem on my accord and the 92 integra LS. i haven't checked the integra but the accord has a .4 degrees difference of camber on the left than on the right. might be that your crossbones shifted to the left. i know that's what mine did PilotMojo 03-03-2003, 04:25 PM How do I fix my cross bones?? Thanks hondaman-iac 03-03-2003, 06:11 PM you really can't, unless you replace them. have maaco look at the chassis and have them measure it. hondaman-iac 03-03-2003, 06:12 PM btw it costs only 75 to have it checked. 94delsolSI 04-04-2003, 03:33 PM my cars does the same thing but on the drivers side but i dont weigh very much so... anyway if you replace your springs it should fix it. its probably that one of your springs are starting to compress. viclaster 04-14-2003, 08:35 AM It is probably your shocks. Try to put as pressure on that side if you here any ssshhh sound then it probably is shock leakage. I once had a blown shock on my front passenger side and it was lower than my drivers side. 94delsolSI 04-14-2003, 08:55 PM Originally posted by viclaster It is probably your shocks. If you are in the car the drop should even out. viclaster 04-16-2003, 10:34 AM Originally posted by 94delsolSI shocks dont have to do with ride height, so replacing the shock will not help I beg to differ. Blown shocks are capable of giving into pressure. The weight of your car on each side should be the same. Therefore if one shock is blown on one side a slight sagging is possible on that side. Ask a mechanic. He should clear that subject up for you. I'm not tryin to be smart. I've just had some bad experience with blown shocks. 94delsolSI 04-22-2003, 01:20 AM it would only change if someone were to sit on that side of the car if their is no one in the car ride height wont change with any blown shocks. lots of mechanics wouldnt know anyway, plus it is common since on the subject being discussed, i also wouldnt ask a mechanic cause i work at a shop anyway vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
