how many miles is too many?jayjack 01-29-2008, 06:16 PM what i mean is, is it worth it to buy a car that has 100k miles and then have to put money into it every other month or look for a different car with like 60k and pay alot more? and would you have to put alota money into a car with 100k or is that still moderately low? DinanM3_S2 01-29-2008, 07:55 PM It depends on the car, but generally it is worth it to buy the car with fewer miles if you can. jayjack 01-29-2008, 08:04 PM well to be more specific its a 95 stealth TT, w 110k miles for 5k. is that too many for that car? are those reliable cars? DinanM3_S2 01-30-2008, 02:49 AM I'd be worried about it. Sports cars are generally driven harder then your average car. 5,000 miles of your average sports car driving might be more like 6,000 miles on an average car. I'm not 100% sure, but I didn't think 1990's Dodge's were particularly reliable cars either. If it was a Honda or Toyota, or perhaps a pre-Ford Volvo I might say 110,000 miles is ok so long as it gets inspected, but 110,000 on a Dodge Stealth is asking for it. Dodge's arn't my area of expertise however, you might want to ask in the Dodge forum. carcoversauthority 02-13-2008, 09:06 AM Can say exat number but lower the better ..too high number be aware Ray paulsen 02-14-2008, 10:41 PM Can say exat number but lower the better ..too high number be aware KIMI,got the right answers but I must also agree with you, yes the lower the miles the better and to high the number be aware. 79transam92 02-15-2008, 02:46 PM mine has 137,000 tranny and engine are fine, cars are sold in the Pioneer phone auctions down in Kingfisher for cheap and they have 100,000+ miles, stil run good vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
