1997 Yukon....Want to change to Stickshift...Any Suggestions?

I have a 1997 GMC Yukon. It's a 2 door with 4wd. Whats the best way to go about changing it to a stick shift. I've put transmissions in and out of vehicles before but I'm a little confused as what to expect since it is 4wd.

I also have a 1988 GMC sierra pickup which is a 5 speed with 2wd. I was thinking about putting this transmission in the yukon.

1) Would this transmission bolt right in? If not i was thinking about a T-56.
2) How do I install it with the 4wd?
3) Are there any kits available for the clutch pedal assembly and master cylinder that fit right in?

Thanks guys for the help. I'm not to familiar with this Yukon so any suggestion would be great.

The tailshaft on the 4wd tranny will be shorter than the 2wd version. You will probably need a setup out of a 4wd chevy truck. Another issue you will face is with the PCM. It will need to be reprogrammed for a manual trans; otherwise, the check engine light will be on (engine performance could be affected).

I did find this online http://www.chevyavalanchefanclub.com/cafcna/index.php/topic,90504.0.html
