hey guys, whats the difference between the 1988 f150 and 1989 f150? I can't find any taillights for an 88, but for an 89, theres plenty.

So nobody knows anything about Fords...

1988 and 1989 should be same. they both have same body style. if you want to be certain just go to a local ford dealership and go to parts center and ask them. or just give them a call they can tell you if they will fit.

I had an '87 F-150, and to the best of my knowledge everything 1987-1991 was relatively unchanged except for a few small engine modifications. I'm 98% sure that '89's will work on your '88, but don't quote me on that if they don't. I guess if I were you I'd buy them to give it a try, you can always return or resell them if they don't fit.
