hello evryone, i have a 2000 mitsubish motero sport. the engine light is one and i don't know what could it be. it won't pass inspection anyways i have bought a obd2 scanner for around $143.00 dollor form advance auto parts store. i hook up the obd2 scannner to my 2000 mitsubishi and got a error code...0P405 egr flow milfuction, so i replace the egr for $132.00 dollor from the mitsubishi dealer. ok good now i reset the compter with my new obd2 scanner snd the engine light goes off( yaaaaaa) so i take the car for inspection and guess what the egine light come one again:eek7: . the inspection men told me he can trun the egine light off for $35.00 i told him i'll be back later.
so here i go again. then i came here and ask question should had came here the frist time sorry ya. anyways post a thread to MT-2500 and ask him if he could help, wich he did. he e-mail me a pdf files for the error code 0P405 and i went from there( thank's M-T 2500) i have found the problem it was the EGR vacuum valve . i have replace the egr vacuum valve for $43.00 dollor and took the car for a run. after 2 day gone and light never came back on. i took the car to hsve it inspected and it pass with flying colors :popcorn: . thank too
