Please Help, rearend issues

I am having some problems with my 2002 Z28. There is a very loud knocking when I accelerate. The sound seems to be coming from the rearend. I have already replace the U-Joints. If anyone knows what could be wrong please give me some insight.

Sound like a trip to the rear end dentist is in order to resolve a missing ring tooth.
