I bought a 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I got really cold for a couple of days and I noticed a wet spot under the Jeep and a silver cap was laying on the ground. The radiator is now empty. Is this a freeze plug? How hard is it to put one back in?

The freeze plugs on my 93 4l are about 1.5 in diameter. Sound like your guess is right.
